I am an absolute stickler for following good, old fashioned traditions (I have written about the history of the popular verse 'something old, something new' on Bride De Force before) and I have just found out that The Royal Mint has produced a new Wedding silver sixpence coin. What an absolutely brilliant present for a bride-to-be I thought - so had to share it with you all.

Don't forget... it should be the father of the bride who places the sixpence in the bride's (left) shoe. It is a symbol of him wishing her prosperity, love and happiness in her marriage.
