Classically Styled and Quintessentially British Real Wedding

Welcome to the quintessentially British and classically styled Wedding of Claire and Tom. This beautiful Wedding is so genuinely romantic it made me feel all warm and fussy inside.  I just adore the vintage styling with the use of classical lace, pearls, English roses and a natural colour palette.

Thank you John Alexander Photography... another fabulous Wedding album.

Fabulous Floral Head Pieces By Florrie & Eve

The tradition for brides wearing flowers in their hair, dating back to Ancient Greece and possibly beyond, is back in full force and Florrie & Eve are striving to keep this tradition alive.  Flowers in your hair evokes a magical and hippie chic vibe that I just love.
With fresh flower headpieces lasting just for one day Florrie & Eve decided to create perpetual pieces that would last a lifetime.
Each piece is created by designers Nadia and Penelope, and is unique to you. These beautiful and realistic creations are handmade to order using silk flowers and traditional floristry techniques.
"Many of my brides wear a fresh floral hair piece created just a few hours before the wedding ceremony, and while these provide the ultimate finishing touch to the brides attire there is no way of knowing what the piece will be like until it arrives that morning. The designs created at Florrie & Eve mean each bride can try her accessories a head of the big day, ensuring that the hair and gown can be styled to her exact wishes. Our perpetual pieces benefit from the flexibility of floristry techniques that allow the pieces to be manipulated to fit and their look ensured on the big day and beyond."  Nadia Di Tullio, Florrie & Eve.

Vera Wang's New Bridal Bouquets

I don't know about you guys but the news of Vera Wang reaching into flowers was like music to my ears. I am a huge fan of her designs and was intrigued to say the least... who better to get an insight into the trends for the season to come.

Floral trends this season have a strong focus on pale and pastel colours, with vintage designs and country garden inspired arrangements already marked as favourites.
Soft and creamy colour palettes are enhanced by large open flowers that have a quintessential country garden feel.
The other ‘it’ colour on trend is purple, ranging from the softer lavenders and lilacs right through to the deeper, richer violets and indigos.
The style of the bridal bouquets seems to be one of two extremes, the more relaxed 'just picked' country garden feel versus a more structured, modern design.

Dusky pinks are definitely also 'big' this season and I think this colour promises to stay around.
I was also very excited to see a very similar Calla Lilly Wedding bouquet featured amongst her designs that I had for my own Wedding!!
Full details of The Vera Wang Wedding Collection by Interflora can be found on the Interflora website along with details of the Interflora florists accredited to provide this nationwide service. Prices for the designs start at £64.99 for a bridal bouquet.
