Classically Styled and Quintessentially British Real Wedding
Welcome to the quintessentially British and classically styled Wedding of Claire and Tom. This beautiful Wedding is so genuinely romantic it made me feel all warm and fussy inside. I just adore the vintage styling with the use of classical lace, pearls, English roses and a natural colour palette.

Are you hoping to have a Wedding with a country, rustic theme? If so, I have the perfect item for you. These rustic wedding crates make a perfect addition to reception decorations, as table centres, for flower arrangements, gifts for mothers, favours, general storage and all sorts...
Alternatively they make an excellent gift box for a friend's wedding present! And probably something the bride and groom will treasure more than the present.

Locket Love
Lockets are something that have made a huge come back recently. They are elegant and timeless and so romantic to keep a photo of your loved ones so close to your heart.
I love this rose gold locket by jewellery designer Astley Clarke. Engraving your new initials on the front, as shown in the image above, makes it the perfect Wedding gift as well as something that can then be handed down through generations.
There is also a mini silver version that would be perfect for your bridesmaids. You could always engrave your wedding date on the back as a momento of the day.

Add Something Unusual to Your Wedding Reception.
I absolutely love these personalised swings. If you are getting married in an outdoor location with a large tree... why not add one to your list of decorations? Not only will they look amazing in your photos and entertain your guests but they make a great keepsake from your Big Day too!

Interview with Make Up Artist - Melina Strachan
My history/training…
I was born and grew up in Sweden to Serbian parents. When I was 19 I got a job in Greece to work for the summer and ended up staying for 5 years! I returned back home to start my makeup artistry course at Stockholm University where I benefited from expert tuition in fashion, film, stage and photographic makeup and prosthetics. After the course I decided to move to London as it would be perfect for me and my career as a makeup artist. I started off in retail where I worked my way up very quickly and looked after brands such as Giorgio Armani Cosmetics, Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown and By Terry. Finally, after years in retail, I got the courage to go freelance and pursue my dream. I haven’t looked back! I have worked on editorials, commercials, fashion & beauty and in TV.I have now worked as a professional makeup artist for 15 years.
I was first inspired to become a make up artist when…
I have always loved makeup. I used to do makeup on my friends at home from an early age and preform for our parents. When I came across Serge Lutens book Editions Assouline I was blown away by his creations and decided I wanted to become a makeup artist.
I am now inspired by…
I get inspiration from creative people I work with, film, music, from traveling but mainly from catwalks and magazines where you get to see the latest trends. I always look forward seeing what Pat McGrath comes up with.
The majority of my work is for…
It’s actually pretty mixed and that’s what I love about it, no week is the same. Weekends are mostly weddings but during the week it could be anything which is what makes it so exciting.
My best ideas have come from…
Working in a friendly team where we can bounce ideas of each other which I find really inspiring and gets creativity flowing.
Make-up sessions start from…
£100 for the trial and £200 on the day for the bride. Prices may wary depending on the size of bridal party and larger groups receive a discount.
My office/studio is…
I come to you, where ever you are!
My favourite designer is…
The queen Pat McGrath!
Every bride should…
Prep her skin, exfoliate and hydrate! And NEVER pluck her own eyebrows before the wedding!
