Confetti That Comes With A Warning!
Now this is not something that I would usually feature on Bride de Force, but I just couldn't help chuckling myself at the thought of shocking the Oldies!
It is hand cut table confetti made using recycled pages of the infamous '50 Shades' trilogy! It does have a vintage edge, so for those brave Brides out there it could be perfect to subtly spice up your Wedding, or perhaps it is best kept for hen parties? Either way I think it is great for some fun.

A Stunning, Quintessentially British Wedding
Welcome to the absolutely wonderful Wedding of Rose and Storm. Rose was adamant that she didn't want 'too much faff' or flowers that were too 'formal or perfect' yet she managed to create the most perfect and beautiful Wedding day. Every aspect is a spectacle, from the simplicity of her dress against her exquisite tiara to the most amazing arrangements of hydrangeas over the fireplace in the reception room. I must say, the classic and quintessentially British style of Rosie and Storm's Wedding really does ring chords of Royal Weddings we have seen in the past.
There were lots of people flying in from around the world so we couldn't go to North Wales, where I grew up. Staying in London seemed easier. We didn't really need to do much decoration because the church and reception venue are both already incredibly beautiful and steeped in history.
I found the experience of Wedding dress shopping a bit of a faff. I enjoyed trying dresses on when I knew I wouldn't buy them (i.e. really expensive places), but I spent ages looking for my mum's dress and didn't find it so I was a bit bummed out by the time I actually needed to start looking for one for real. I just got lucky that I spotted it in the window of a second hand shop, and it fit like a glove.
My husband wore his morning suit, he's owned it for years. I gave him the waistcoat as a Christmas present about 4 years ago.
Parts of organising my Wedding were great fun, but having so much to do was challenging. I'm not so good at delegating. We started in late January, and it carried on right through until September. I just said to myself that if I did two things a day we'd be fine (get a quote, book a wedding dress appointment, etc).
We went for a very simple, lemon sponge cake because most people like that, and very plain white icing. The pattern on it was taken from the pattern of the beading on my dress, which was suggested by the lady that made the cake.
The florist was very helpful in choosing my Wedding flowers. I had a very good idea of what I didn't want (lilies, roses - beautiful, but much too perfect and formal) and some specific things I did want (blue hydrangeas, sweet peas, stocks, an arch covered in flowers next to the cake table for us to stand in front of). The florist then kind of figured it out from there, and made some brilliant additional suggestions.
My photographer was Amy Parton, from Raccoon Event Photography - I know her from years and years ago, and she is a phenomenal photographer so it was a no brainer. I just kept my fingers crossed she was free and would agree to doing it!

I made lots of things for the Wedding myself, but I love doing that kind of thing so it was a bit self-indulgent. Didn't really buy decorations, although we gave the bridesmaids and pageboys bubbles to blow as we came out of the church as we weren't allowed confetti.
My bridesmaid's dresses were from Mini Boden. Finding them was a nightmare as most dresses seemed to be either shiny and tacky, or cost about £200. I got lucky and saw the Boden ones on sale online and loved them! Shoes were a nightmare - they were wrong for the girls and the boys and I ended up having to buy double because the return period was over by the time I got them back. Children's sizes are even more inconsistent than adult sizing! If you have young ones, get their parents to sort out the shoes, it will save a tiny scrap of your sanity.
The best memory most from my wedding day was the church service. That was the main point of the day, after all. Parts of organising my Wedding were great fun, but having so much to do was challenging. I'm not so good at delegating. We started in late January, and it carried on right through until September. I wanted blue hydrangeas because I grew up surrounded by them. And I guess blue is my favourite colour, so it kind of crept in there.
Rosie's Three Top Tips:
1. If you are getting into a car at any point with people around you, get someone (your husband) to stand immediately behind you to block any unfortunate photographs. Not a flattering angle for even the slightest of rumps.
2. If you are not sitting down for food at any set time, make sure some food is set aside for you and your husband, and that someone takes you aside so you can actually eat it. Otherwise you will starve!
3. Have time off afterwards, preferably where there are no English speaking people!
Suppliers: Dress - A second hand shop, Veil - My sister's, Shoes - Debenhams, Flowers - Jam Jar Flowers, Make-up - Rosie Willoughby, Hair - Cutting Room Putney, Bridesmaid Dresses - Mini Boden, Cake - All Amy Cakes, Photographer - Amy Parton, Raccoon Event Photography, Venue - Cavalry & Guards Club, London

Fashion Hairstyles 2013
If you are going to know about various hairstyles then first you can
divide them in to three categories as updo hairstyles, longer styles and
shorter styles. Updo hairstyles are most popular 2013 hairstyles
because they are easy to maintain when styled and among updo hairstyles,
French twist is the best as it is better than simple ponytail.
French twist can be made of long and medium hairs and if you want to
make French twist than you have to put all your hairs at your back,
twisting it inwards and securing with hairpins. But if you have shorter
hairs and you want to make French twist then it will take time and it
will be hard to make but you can make them on short hairs.
You can add many variations in your French twist like you can make bangs
which can be on your left or right side. Similarly you can make curls
at the ends of hairs or by leaving some wisps of hairs around your face
and curl them.A bridesmaid hairstyle should be according to the
bridesmaid dress as a formal gown looks great with a fancier hairstyle
and simple plain sheath looks great with simple straight hairstyles.
Similarly your dress style also matters in making a wonderful hairstyle
like whether you are wearing off shoulder dress or dress having sleeves
or straps. Each bridesmaid should decide before making of hairstyle
which facial features she wants to highlights as updo hairstyles
highlight eyes, nose and mouth while loose flowing hairstyles draw
attention towards your personality.
f you have short hairs and you want to make an updo hairstyle then here are some tips that can help you in this matter. First you have to wash your hairs and dry those with brush in such a way that curls are made in them. Then run fingers through them so that volume can be given to them. Then use curler to make curls and large curls will look softer. Then accessorize your hairstyle with hair accessories.
Glam Bridesmaid Hairstyles 2013
There
happens to be gossip saying that you are going to be a upcoming bridal
party at your best buddy's marriage. Is that true?! If so, I’ve to tell
you two factors. The first one is Best wishes to your buddy and you! The
second is to tell you to go nowhere while with me as I’m going to
existing a selection of extravagant and stylish bridal party hair-styles
which are so stylish this season. The first hair-styles that you, my
unique bridal party, can opt for are the updos. And do not tell me “What
is the new thing?! Updos are always used on unique occasions” I think
nothing’s new or even more recent than the updos themselves as the
hair-styling experts existing much more innovative and stylish updo
hair-styles for 2013 which are so appropriate for unique events like;
marriages.
The
first designs of updos that you can opt for this season are the
chignons which incorporate between traditionalism and modernity.
Besides, you can game any design of the turned updo hair-styles. So,
perspective your locks and go to the wedding! Besides these and those,
there is a variety of buttocks at the front side of you to choose from
and use such as; the part taken buttocks, low buttocks, mid-height
buttocks, great buttocks, unpleasant buttocks and others. All of these
hair-styles can provide the bridal party a very extravagant and stylish
look.
The
second bridal party hair-styles on our record these days are the
braided hair-styles. You can opt for any design of them beginning from
the stylish and clean braided updos to the smooth and simple braids such
as; the People from france, milkmaid, fishtail, traditional or any
other design. Can you think what else you may opt for?! I listen to
someone saying “Ponytails”. Really, ponytails are so in with us this
year! You can game the clean and stylish great ponytails or the
attractive and simple low, part taken ponytails. For anyone not so
interested in wearing them, you can use the 50 percent up 50 percent
down hair-styles which are also stylish this season and have extravagant
looks.
If
you do not like any of the last described hair-styles above, then I
have to tell you to opt for the reduce locks which is one of the locks
designs of 2013. Besides, it’s from the uncomplicated, yet attractive
hairstyles that any lady can opt for. All you have to do is to
straighten up, snuggle or add some surf to your locks and let it
circulation on your returning, returning or jawline depending on your
locks length; lengthy, method or quite brief. As you can get from the
last phrase that all of the bridal party hairstyles described above
beginning from the updos to the streaming dos are more appropriate for
females with certain locks lengths; lengthy, method or not so brief. Now
what if you are a lady who prefers to keep her locks brief and simple
or maybe wild? Which hair-styles can you opt for?! Baby, do not worry!
There
are some stylish and stylish brief hairstyles that you can use such as;
the quiffs. You know those hair-styles have very amazing and stylish
looks. Besides, you can game the pixie cut or any design of the brief
bob or brief popped hairstyles, but do not go too edgy. Either you
straighten up, snuggle, or clutter your locks or even add any kind of
surf to it, be sure that your look will be so stunning and glamorous.
Woman, be confident! I have to tell you that you can add more charm to
your brief hair-styles by including any of the locks components such as;
segments, hooks and headbands or you may even go further than that and
add some braids to your locks. For your details, you can do so with any
kind of hair-styles you are going to sport!
I
think you are now conscious of all the 2013 hair-styles that you as a
bridal party can game, right?! But do you know how to choose the right
one for you?! You need to choose the hairstyle which is appropriate for
your character, outfit, and marriage concept and experience form. Of
course, that is besides matching your locks structure and
characteristics. My unique bridal party, the last factor that you need
to be conscious of is that your hair-styles should be always stylish but
simple. I know that you would ask me; “How much simple?!” Baby, put in
your thoughts to choose the hair style which would be easier and far
from the one that the bride-to-be may wear!! Now, I’m going to tell you
goodbyes and wish you a glamorous and incredible look!
